    • Always handle your journal with clean, dry hands to protect the paper and cover from oils or stains.
    • Avoid bending or forcing the spine open beyond its natural flexibility, especially for hand-stitched bindings.

    ☀️ Storage

    • Store your journal in a dry, cool place out of direct sunlight to prevent fading or warping.
    • If not in use, keep it in a dust sleeve or fabric pouch for extra protection.

    💧 Moisture & Humidity

    • Keep away from water, steam, or excessive humidity, which can cause the paper to ripple or mold over time.
    • If the journal does get damp, gently press it between absorbent papers and leave it to dry flat under weight.

    • Most of our journals use high-quality paper suitable for ballpoint pens, pencils, fountain pens, and even light ink washes.
    • Test markers or wet media on a back page first to check for bleed-through or feathering.
